The New York Yankees were on the road from 9/18
through 9/23 playing in Chicago White and Baltimore Orioles. And as I recall
they left 3 to 4 days before the 9/18 game because air travel was a mess due to
heightened security. I also recall seeing Derek Jeter, Mo Rivera and BernieWilliams with victims’ families and first responders. The New York Yankees also
donated $1 million dollars to the relief fund. Bobby Valentine is wrong and a
bitter, bitter man.
